One of my classes at school is a Group Dynamics course, which explores all of the interpersonal workings, roles and issues that exist or could potentially present during a group therapy session. It is a very interesting class, and made me realize that this is an area I could be working in the future.
We had an activity today where our group was given ten pieces of dried spaghetti noodles and four large marshmallows. Our only restriction was we had to build a "structure", using only these materials. After collaboration and brainstorming, we created a little teepee looking building, complete with an edible flag and marshmallow foundation. I know, a picture would enhance this description so vividly, but I failed to take one.
Why am I describing this? It just reinforced the fact that you can make almost anything out of marshmallows. Damn, they're better than cement or glue! Also, the collective creativity of a team and 9 other brilliant people doesn't hurt either.
